La Montaña Productions ltd.

Founded in 2017 by Jazz Martinez-Gamboa and Stephen Bayly for the production of theatre and film, based in London and Havana.

 

Jazz holds an MA in theatre directing, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). Awarded 'best director’ 2018 Cuba for 'Richard III’; nominated ‘best director’ 2019 Cuba for ‘Equus’. His short film ‘Mancha’ (The Stain) was selected for La Petite Fabrique/Euroconnection, Clermont-Ferrand Festival 2023.

Stephen has a long career as producer/director having worked among others with Tony and Ridley Scott. In 1995 he produced Richard III, directed by Richard Loncraine, starring Ian Mckellen and in 1997 produced Mrs Dalloway, directed by Marleen Morris, starring Vanessa Redgrave. He was former director of the the national film and television school (NFTS) in Britain.
